Introduction
Benchmarking is integrated directly into the Business Plan step, providing more nuanced insights within your valuation workflow. This feature allows you to include private company data in your analysis for a more comprehensive comparison.
How to Use Benchmarking +
You must be inside a valuation flow to access the Business Plan step.
Accessing Benchmarking+
Navigate to the Valuation Flow.
Proceed to the Business Plan step.
Inside the Business Plan, locate the Menu (three dots) on the right of each individual line item (e.g., Net Sales, Operating Expenses).
Click on the three dots, then select Benchmarking+ from the dropdown menu for that specific line item.
The Benchmarking+ Drawer will open, displaying detailed benchmarking data.

1. Explore Benchmarking Tabs
Within the Benchmarking+ drawer, you can navigate through the following tabs to view various benchmarking scenarios:
Best Case
Upper Case (75th Percentile)
Lower Case (25th Percentile)
2. Compare Metrics and Benchmarks
You can view the applied metric alongside industry benchmarks, which are broken down by:
Country
Region
Global
3. Contextual Insights
The Industry and Country benchmarks displayed are based on the selections you made earlier during the valuation setup, providing contextual relevance.
4. Customise Display Options
Show or Hide the Table: Toggle the table view to focus more clearly on either the benchmark chart or the comparison data.
Include in Export: You can choose to include the benchmark chart in your valuation export for reporting purposes.
5. Editing and Customisation
Edit the Applied Number: Only the Applied number can be manually edited, offering you the flexibility to adjust this as needed.
