When you navigate to the Financial Projection screen, you may notice the numbers that appear there have different colors.
We use the color coding on the Projections screen to make it clearer where each number comes from: -
Blue -
Input by the user (or for Public companies: analyst expectations). This can be seen in Sales - Actuals, for example, based on your input of Annual Revenue at the start of your valuation.
Green -
An estimation by Valutico, based on peer benchmarks
Black -
Calculated as a result of other inputs (e.g. D&A) or extrapolated by the system, based on previous years' values (e.g. in outer years, where there is no benchmark data available from peers).
