Valuatico's system is based on the latest available peer financials (book values of debt, cash, pensions, non-controlling interest) and market cap at the valuation date. You can see the calculations by selecting "Financials" from the three dots, next to each peer's name. Please take a look at how to access that here.

Valutico then uses the median of all selected peers to calculate the gearing for the target capital structure. You can change this in the Parameters menu on the valuation screen if you need to. Here is a brief on How to change the Parameters of the Valuation.
