Valutico's suggestion for the peer group is mainly based on the information you have entered about the company you want to value (industry, size, annual revenues, country, etc.).

Additionally, if you have already provided one peer at the beginning of the valuation, the system will also try to find peers that are similar to this one. This is one of the most potent weighted options within our algorithm, as it will attempt to compare data about your selected peer and the data provided to find the most closely related peers.

Please note that the selection of the 'correct' peer group (and also the transactions) is ultimately up to your professional judgment as a valuation expert and we can only provide suggestions for you to start with and analyze.
