In some cases, you may have access to a database such as S&P CapitalIQ, and in comparing the Peers, notice that some data available on this or other databases aren't shown on Valutico.

Valutico pre-screens all data it receives from other databases, and occasionally eliminates outliers. If, for example, a negative EBIT would lead to a negative EBIT multiple, we exclude this from the peer overview.

Similarly, we exclude extremely high multiples, if we aren't confident in the data, or believe they result from non-recurring effects.
