Introduction
The Peer Selection screen with advanced search capabilities and new filters, offering a more detailed and customizable way to find relevant peers for your valuation.
The Peer Selection screen introduces checkbox filters and range filters, allowing you to specify criteria for trading (e.g., EV/Sales, EV/EBITDA) and financial metrics (e.g., Sales, EBITDA, Net Income). This tailored approach ensures that you can quickly identify the most comparable peers, resulting in deeper and more relevant insights for your business.
How to Use the Advanced Search Filters for Peer Selection
1. Navigate to the Peers Screen
In a Valuation, go to the Peers screen where you manage comparable companies.
2. Select the Advanced Search Option
On the top right corner of the screen, click on Advanced Search to access the enhanced filtering options.
3. Access the Available Multiples Dropdown
Locate the Available Multiples dropdown on the screen.
Click on it to view the advanced filter options.
4. Apply Advanced Filters
You will be presented with a set of filters designed for a more tailored peer selection
process. These include:
- Checkbox filters for selecting known multiples like EV/Sales and EV/EBITDA.
- Range filters for specifying ranges for financial metrics like Sales, EBITDA, and Net Income.
